Managing Your Billing Information
Keep your billing information up-to-date and access your payment history with these simple steps.
Accessing Billing Settings
Navigate to Billing
- Log into your FeatureShark account
- Click your profile picture in the top right
- Select Account Settings
- Go to the Billing tab
Payment Methods
Adding a New Payment Method
- In the Billing section, click Add Payment Method
- Choose your payment type:
- Credit Card: Enter card details
- PayPal: Connect your PayPal account
- Set as default payment method (optional)
- Click Save
Updating Existing Payment Method
- Find the payment method in your list
- Click Edit next to the method
- Update the information
- Click Save Changes
Removing a Payment Method
ā ļø Note: You cannot remove your primary payment method if you have an active subscription.
- Click Remove next to the payment method
- Confirm the removal
- The method will be deleted immediately
Invoices and Receipts
Viewing Invoice History
- All invoices are available in the Billing History section
- Invoices show:
- Invoice number and date
- Amount charged
- Plan details
- Payment method used
Downloading Invoices
- Click Download PDF next to any invoice
- Invoices include all tax information
- Save for your accounting records
Email Receipts
- Automatic receipts are sent after each payment
- Check the email associated with your account
- Receipts include the same information as invoices
Billing Address
Updating Your Billing Address
- Go to Billing Information
- Click Edit Address
- Update your details:
- Company name
- Street address
- City, state, ZIP code
- Country
- Tax ID (if applicable)
- Click Save

- Required for tax calculations
- Appears on all invoices
- Needed for compliance in some regions
Subscription Management
Current Plan Information
Your billing page shows:
- Current plan name and cost
- Next billing date
- Active features
- Usage statistics
Changing Billing Cycle
- Click Change Billing Cycle
- Choose Monthly or Annual
- Confirm the change
- New cycle starts at next billing period
Failed Payments
What Happens When Payment Fails
- First Attempt: Automatic retry in 3 days
- Second Attempt: Retry in 5 days
- Third Attempt: Final retry in 7 days
- Account Suspension: After 15 days of failed payments
Resolving Failed Payments
- Update your payment method
- Ensure sufficient funds
- Contact your bank if needed
- Reach out to support for help
Preventing Payment Issues
- Keep payment methods current
- Monitor expiration dates
- Set up backup payment methods
- Enable email notifications
Tax Information
VAT and Sales Tax
- Automatically calculated based on billing address
- Rates vary by location
- Clearly shown on invoices
Tax ID Numbers
- Add your VAT number for B2B transactions
- Available in EU countries
- May qualify for tax exemptions
Refunds and Credits
Refund Policy
- 30-day money-back guarantee
- Prorated refunds for annual plans
- No refunds for usage-based charges
Requesting a Refund
- Contact support within 30 days
- Provide reason for refund request
- Refunds processed within 5-10 business days
Account Credits
- Applied automatically to next invoice
- Visible in billing history
- Cannot be withdrawn as cash
